Just a little update to this sticky. It seems that more dealers are offering USPS shipping for us now - helping us save some money, although it might be a little more trouble (or take a little longer) because the dealer might live in a rural part of the country, not close to a post office.
Shipping is not going to get any cheaper over time, but at least we will have a choice of who delivers our precious packages! _________________ Matt

I've been a seller and a buyer on the Internet for over 13 years and my preference has always been the USPS without a doubt. Not only flat rate but priority ail runs circles around both ups and FedEx in both price and service.
I guess I missed the pole but I want to put my 2 cents worth in.
