Please check out http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280064097780

As far as I can tell it is orginal. Needs very little repair. Was going to use it but decided to go with new. If someone on this board would like it let me know an offer and I might be willing to stop the auction.

FYI, once a bid has been made you are not supposed to stop an auction unless you state for sale locally type thing... Not 100% on this but check with eBay...

Good looking top for its age... do not need one yet....

That's unfortunate. I would have paid $30-35 for it to use it as a pattern. Been nice if it had been offered here first.

Reason I put it on ebay is I saw one in the same shape go for close to $300. Nothing against helping everyone on the board out, I am just on a very tight budget for the resto of my m38 and need to get the most for the parts I do have for sale.

You may have been able to do a little better then that $153 by setting a reserve closer to that $300 figure you had in mind.

I am happy with the price. The Market decided the value. It gets me just under half way to a new top and it a lot more than what you would have offered.
