Hi all,
I've tried to post a picture but it's been so long since I did it that I've forgotten how to!
Anyway, under the passenger seat, on the tool box top (not the lid) there are three rectangular spot welded blocks welded to the floor.
What are these for?
Ta, Dave.

Hi Dave,
They are for mounting the decontaminator bracket.

Ah, I see. I've never seen one of those on an MC. I'm in the UK and M38's are very rare beasts. Ha anybody got a picture of the bracket?
Ta, Dave.

Hi Dave,
I have the link fixed. Try it again. Should be a photo of both.

Search the archives Here. A few posts on them.

Take care,

Found some pictures, thank you. Bizarrely I think I have one of these in the shed!! It's been sitting there for years, I just thought it was an old fire extinguisher! Because it has green OD overspray all over it.

Thank you,

Dave.

I saw a similar bracket on ebay earlier today listed as an NOS fire extinguisher bracket, in case anyone is looking for one...

One or two of the discussions here mention at least three different
brackets for not only the decontaminator but fire extinguishers as
well. Reportedly only one fits the factory brackets and holes.
