I have finally managed to extract a well stuck sump pan from my L134 motor . As you can imagine the original sump gasket is shredded . Problem for me is, i live in a remote area of the Philippines .....cant get the proper replacement off the shelf ,so no alternative but to make my own . There must be somebody out there who has made a succesful replacement at some stage .I have access to gasket making compound (tube stuff) also tough ish brown paper (fairly thick) would a combination of the two work ???

Do not use RTV type sealer/adhesive anywhere near oil system components. Stay with the Permatex style of gasket sealers and gasket makers. If you must fabricate a gasket use sheet cork in a thickness of not more than 1/8" thick.

If you have a mailing address then I suggest you be patient and order a gasket.

Midwest military has stock and ships overseas.

I'll email you a spec sheet with cross reference part numbers.
