How does one test if the fuel tank vent valve is still good ?
Part 8332556 valve, fuel tank.

Should I be able to blow air through it ?

It should flow one way. IN. Do not forget the tank has two vents. The valve on top and the filler cap. If you are having trouble with the tank not feeding the fuel pump well it is often the cap's vent valve which someone had closed for fording and forgot to open.
