Does anyone have the dimensions for (1) The 2 spacers for the 2 top carriage head bolts on the spare tire carrier (tailgate mounted)? and (2) the 4 small spacers for the wiper motors?

If anyone has seen or purchased these at a hardware store, etc.,I can do that!

Thanks in advance.

Hi Trip.
The M38 Reference Guide has a photo of the spare tire carrier spacers on page 159 and says they're 1-3/4ths inch for a 3/8ths inch carriage bolt. You have a copy?

The ORD9 on page 277 lists G758-8329989, WO-643473 and describes them but doesn't give the length. Says the carriage bolts are 3-1/2 long.

I think several of our venerable MV parts vendors have them NOS for reasonable price, and before discovering that I bought mine at local Ace Hardware. Closest size in the bin was 2-inch, so I had to trim them 1/4 inch.

And they're roll formed from plate so they have a seam along the length. I don't know if the originals were made this way or solid (can't tell from the Reference Guide photo) but so far they're holding up well.

Good luck!
