https://imgur.com/a/0YWL7Yh Would you even think of trying to bring these back to life. Number 2 jeep turns over , Number 1 jeep is frozen . bodies gone. part them out or strip to frame and see if I can get them running.

Okay I am insane but yes I would try to save at least one. Alot would depend on frame condition more than the body.

Frame on the one that turns over is not to bad. Neither are rust thru but one has heavy pitting. Just already have 1 and a cj2a may try and rebuild the one and clean up the other to a running chassis. Maybe swap for a tub. They look like they were in barn that collapsed and filled full of pine needles. Ate it from top down.

In my opinion, M38A1s are not that rare or valuable to sink a lot of money in trying to save these. Looks to me best to part them out for the salvageable parts.

That the trouble. To do it right , it would cost a pile. Do at bubba style and you have 2500 to 6000 dollar jeep that you have the same in. Still think I ll trying get at least one running.

Hello CRVBS,

I sent this PM to you early this morning and got no reply:

Quote:
I would like to know your intent or purpose in your posting: http://www.willysmjeeps.com/v2/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=13207

The board you posted this on is for folks to start a restoration project following thread.

If it is your intent to make this a beginning of a complete coverage of your restoration project to last till it's completion I will leave your post here. If you are simply asking for opinions on the restorability of these jeeps then I will move your post to the Technical knowledge board.
