Good Afternoon Everyone...
I have begun working on the frame of my M-38 and with that, I had to repair some damage done by Bubba. As I was mounting a new rear bumper, I lined up the rivet holes and double checked to ensure the trailer hitch mount location was centered between the frame rails. However, with that done, I find that the distance from outer frame rail on the driver's side to the end of the bumper is 13 1/2" and on the passenger side it is 10 1/2". Is that normal because I don't see any other way it could mount without screwing up the hitch mount location... oh, and I purchased the bumper from Kaiser-Willys so I am assuming it is correct.

Whew! Thanks to all who checked that. I can now proceed without worry... and yes, I should have said cross member as it certainly is not a bumper! LOL
Thanks again,
