There is no picture in the instructions for the text.
So I wouldn't have discovered it myself.
Actually when using the ORD 9 SNL G-740 Parts Manual simply find the best group name for your parts in the table of contents front of manual first page.
That would be group 22 Miscellaneous Accessories
Group 22 starts on page 326. Note that it has sub chapters numbered as such 2201 Canvas items, bows & curtains, 2202 Mirrors, reflectors & windshield wipers, 2208.1 Speedometer, and finally 2210 Vehicular data plates starting on page 337.
I noticed in your photo of your patent plate someone has taken the liberty of adding . 38 . after the factory original prefix of MC. That really does not belong there but not much you can do now to correct it.

The unit converter did not give me an answer to the dimensions of the screws,we have a metric system,I miss the measurements in millimeters

0.190 is the diameter of the screw in decimal inches. 18 is the thread pitch. These are not machine type screws. They are sheetmetal type screws so a minor deviation between inch and metric in thread pitch will not be an issue. Your "W" is where the manuals length of 3/8" is written. 3/8" = 0.3750" = 9.53mm. The "No.6" is a number system we use here in the US for small fasteners.
A note I will make is the ORD 9 entry for these screws seems to have mixed up the screw Number vs decimal" diameter. A common Number 6 screw diameter is 0.138" not 0.190". This is interesting! 0.190" is normally associated with the Number 10 screw.

I am sending photos of the screws.
The short ones should be original.
The length of the screw including the head is 9.7 mm.
Sheet metal in glove box went to take apart-Good access to the back of the panel.

The nut cannot be original from Willys. Willys used sheet metal screws and the part numbers describe sheet metal screws not machine screws and nuts. The sheet metal screws are designed for use without nuts.

Self-tapping screws, I understand.
Original unobtainable.
I'll stick with bolts and nuts.
Will not damage the opening and prevents labels from being easily stolen.
That kit wasn't cheap.

Robert at Data Plates 4 U has all the data plates for our Jeeps and will correctly stamp your numbers on them. He even has the inspector stamps (crossed cannons and eagle etc.).
