Hello all,
does anybody know if / where anybody is selling the M38 Antenna mount that goes on the spare wheel carrier?

I've seen similar ones that look like M151 mounts, are they the same?

Thanks,
Dave

Dave.

Try Surplus City Parts.
www.surplusjeep.com
They had them in stock not to long ago. The price was for an AB-449/G antenna support, NOS, w/Hardware round 120$
Hope that helps.....

Thanks, I'll try them.
The problem is I'm in the UK and their export (US) laws mean they can't easily sell to me as I could be a terrorist planning some deviuos attrocity with my M38 and the last vital link I might need is a sixty year old antenna support!

Thank you Wes,
that is an excellent idea, I didn't think before but I just happen to know a metal folder (if the business is still going).
Will try this.
Cheers,
Dave.

Hello Remi,
What were the 4 extension bushings for? Did the vehicle it came off of had taller tires?

Wes,
I realy don't know the use of these extension. I bought this in a lot with a MP50 antenna base, antenna sections and a handfull of radio wire. Is this type of base originally designed for war era jeep??? and modified for the M38 taller tire??? Have you a date on your drawing?
Remi
