Hello folks,
I have been having a tough time getting jeep survey forms returned to
me for our data bases. They are very helpful and ask thirty or so
questions each. I use them to make the main long version data bases
up. I then post a lot of that data to the data bases I have here on
this web site. I am going to continue this practice but we would like
to offer a less intrusive system for those who would like to just list
some basic data about their jeeps and trailers.

Bob Collins has spent some time putting these together and they are
listed here by name and URL:
M38A1
http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/M38-M38A1-M606/database?method=reportRows&tbl=13

M38
http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/M38-M38A1-M606/database?method=reportRows&tbl=15

Trailers
http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/M38-M38A1-M606/database?method=reportRows&tbl=14

Feel free to add your data here. After we see how well these work we
will add more. We will also investigate a way to make the data bases work on both site untill we finish the transition to this site.

Thanks,
Wes Knettle

Hi WesK,
I tried as well, but there is no "Add" option like the trailer data base has.

regards,
lajhune

For some reason the link was incomplete. You can see the last 4 digits are below each link. Just add the last for digits to the link you are copying or clicking on.

IE
l=13, l=14, l=15

Hi Wes,

When I click on the database links I get directed to a yahoo login page. I don't have a Yahoo account and don't want to sign up for one. I get WAY too much spam emails already. Is there some other way to get access to the databases?

Thanks

There is no work around on the Yahoo group data bases. You must join the group to use the data bases. I have owned those 5 Yahoo groups for 10 years and Have not had any issues with spam that couldn't be quickly cleared up.

If you cannot join the Yahoo Group then the downloadable data bases we have on our download pages will be your only choice. Just click on the word "Downloads" at the top of the page when you want to access them. Here's is the direct link for todays post: http://willysmjeeps.com/v2/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownload&cid=35

Wes,

I joined the yahoo group and this website a year ago and have been a horrible memeber as I havent sent you the survey back (#@$%@ life getting in the way Mad ). I just want to make sure if I reply to the original email I got with the survey attached nothing has changed and that is still the correct place to send it back?

Also my jeep was unrestored and already apart so I have been slowly getting the information to fill it out completely. There are few things I dont have answers for yet. I want to get this to you so I dont feel like I am just using both sites and not contributing to your efforts. When I have the remaining data could I send that to you or would you rather me wait to submit a complete form. I have noticed also several other small surveys here in the forum and to me it looks like the information in the long survey covers them all. Am I correct?

Thank you and I apologize for not working this sooner.

Yes the address is still the same. There are a few short surveys that may not be on the form but a quick comparison to the form will sort that out. Yes, a complete survey is always better.

Hello Wes,
Is the Yahoo page now being used exclusively for the database
information or are there updates still being done to the database
on the Downloads page here?

These links are no longer used with this web site. I'll remove this sticky in a few days.
