| I am re-building a YS Carter for my M38. I noticed a threaded opening in the curvature of the neck of the carb. Is this for the priming pump fitting? |

No. It's the vent to cross over tube.

| The primer nozzles go on the intake manifold. One for the first two cylinders and one for the 2nd two cylinders. They're some really good pictures in the photo gallery. |

| Thanks. The jeep came with a Carter F type Carb and no vent tubing, crossover metal or air filter. |
