I wanted music in my A1, but didn't want a stereo in view or in the glove box. so as in my 1919 build, I built a PRC 25 radio entirely out of wood. I turned the knobs on a lathe and carved the other switches and attachments. The lid is hinged to gain access to the stereo. It has am/fm and plays sd cards. I have 1 card that has 60's Vietnam music on it exclusively. There is a 6" speaker below the stereo in the radio case, and another in the 1919's brass catcher. The stereo is controlled by a remote that reads thru the frequency window on top of the radio. My A1 is 24v, so I installed a step down converter like the big rig drivers use to power their 12v accessories.
