Hi Steve,

AAAARRRRGH! NO, NO, NO!!! Don't sell your M38CDN. I sold mine to a friend but I deeply regret this move. To replace this jeep, I bought a M151A2 and I have a 1945 Willys MB but, none of these jeeps can replace my M38CDN affectionately called "Charlie". Even my wife was sad when my M38CDN left home.

I have a Chevy G7107 almost rebuilt and as soon as this truck will be on the road, I will try to swap it for another M38CDN. I’m born in the world of HMVs collection with a M38CDN and I believe this jeep (Canadian and American) is the best one to have in a collection.

Cheers

PS: SNIF! She's in good hands but I miss "Charlie" anyway.

[Bill, you are 100 % correct! Steve will regret selling this M38, it's one sweet unit.

1952 Willys Military Jeep
Model M38 CDN W/W

Original and complete M38CDN runs and drives great, 30,300 original miles, excellent tires and brakes, new batteries. Also has full canvas including top, doors and side curtains, rare original military Ramsey 73A PTO winch and original drive line including Ramsey 105A PTO. Original 24 volt electrical fully functional. Serviced and ready to run.
Also comes with:
Original windshield rifle rack
Original gas fired heater kit (still in crate)
Original fording Kit
A PE95K Genset mounted on a cart and fully operational. (genset has a Willys MC motor which is the spare motor for the jeep)
plus assorted spares

I've had this jeep for almost 19 years and am the second owner from military it has always been kept under cover and is solid and well maintained. I have the original Canadian Army number and original serial number and the vehicle is registered and insured.

Price is $18,000 Canadian dollars

Hi Jack the Bear,

Together we will convince Steve to keep his M38CDN Wink Seriously, I'm convinced that if Steve sells his jeep, he will leave it in the hands of someone who deserves a M38 jeep and who will give it great care.

Cheers

Hi Steve,

Yes, driving a Chevy G506 is as easy as a jeep. The problem with all HMVs that are bigger than a Dodge WC is the space to park them. I'm happy to have rebuilt my Chevy from the ground to top but it will be my money change to have another M38CDN in few years. My purpose will be to rebuild one as a RCAF jeep with the markings of the 425 Tactical Fighter Squadron (Skylark), this squadron which is posted at the CFB Bagotville in Quebec.

Cheers and Merry Christmas
