Hi All; Would anyone have any experience on removing the rear seal of a d18 transfer case screw driver, puller,dynamite, any help would be appreciated thanks Gene

A good hook type seal puller will work. You can also drive two sheet metal screws into it on opposite sides and then use them to pull on to remove the seal.

You can remove the rear extension and push the seal out with a press, or find a small slide hammer "L" or hook that fits between the shaft and seal and reaches behind. Be careful you don't break the ledge the seals stops against. Work one side until it moves and then go opposite. Back and forth. G503 (Ron F.) has double lipped seals and also correct double wall seals. Good gasket sets too. I was very happy with them.

Have you read the Novak or Willys Tech D18 rebuild guides? Both start with remove the rear bearing case then drive the seal out.
