Going to look at a pair of doors tomorrow.
The frame style looks like A1. The bottoms are straight across,
no indent for the tub. Also from the pics looks like rope only
halfway down the front.

Big question is were any 1/4 ton doors fabricated from flat bar?
If not, someone must have repaired these or built new with
rod for the top hinge. Includes canvas and door handles.

Any ideas before I look at them would be appreciated.

I'll post pics tomorrow. And if they aren't M38 they will be available
for sale or trade.

Thanks!

To my knowledge, only the M38A1 doors were made with flat stock. There were round collapsable, round fixed, flat fixed and flat collapsable for the A1. The only M38 frames I have ever seen were round either fixed or collapsable.

Yep, thanks Wes.
From the photos from the seller that's what these are.
Right side canvas is bad, left side looks all there. One hole.

If they are not adaptable to an M38 (windshield rake?)
they'll be available for sale for what I pay or trade.
Just figured I'd better rescue them.

I'll have photos tomorrow if anyone is interested.
