Hi Guys I am having trouble with the fit of the axe on my m38, I used the axe from my mb, its rests on the edge of the fender foot step, but will not go into the axe bracket , do they make a longer handle bracket? . My body is the original body not a repo. The shovel fits fine Confused

Thanks Jim

Hi Jim,
Common ailment. Use the search function and look for axe bracket.
For some axes and tubs the bracket needs to be lengthened to allow
the handle to fit in the notch and on both ends.

Take care,

On mine it is a very snug fit. Have you tried fitting the handle in the bracket (with it loosened out as far as it will go) and then bowing the handle until the head fits (but before the handle breaks) in it's bracket?
