While detailing my M38 I have found that many of the Grease zeros (not all) have red on them, also the plugs on the differentials and the guards which are screwed onto the valve stems. Was this standard? thanks! _________________ regor

Depending on period and which service units both Red and yellow were often used in the field. _________________ Wes K

Thank you Wes. To be specific so I will know what to do. My jeep is noted in my signature. U S Army Infantry
Tire tube valve covers red? All Grease zerks red? Differential plugs red?
The red was applied in the field. If you want the jeep the way it left Willys do not use red. _________________ Wes K
