I have a couple of cowl battery box questions.

1. Which way is front? I think the side with the welded seam and two large holes faces towards the front of the Jeep, is that correct?

2. Where does the circuit breaker bracket mount? I know it mounts on the driver side but, is it centered on the box? How many inches from the bottom or top of the box?

The battery box pictured is from Midwest Military.

Two holes go towards the front of the Jeep for the battery cables. The one hole that goes towards the rear is for the radio power lead.

Thank you! Now I just need to know the position of the circuit breaker bracket.

From the pictures, looks like the bracket is about 1.5" from the top of the box and centered on the driver side.

    Thanks Wes.

I assume you have the circuit breakers. Measure their mounting hole spread to give you a base distance measurement then use a pair of dividers to accurately discern the actual measurements.

The circuit breaker bracket bottom edge is right at 6 inches from the bottom of the box, centered on the box.
