|
|
Hi all,
Google has failed me. Does anybody have a picture of the bulkhead bracket that holds the fording cables where they come through the bulkhead please,
I'm going to have to make one, if anybody has some dimensions that would be really useful,
Many Thanks,
Dave. _________________ David Wigham |

Hi,
thank you for posting that, thing is by the time that bar gets to me in the UK it'll cost around $55 plus around $15 dollars handling charge by out customs and a $15 dollar import charge hence I have the bar but just needed a picture or some dimensions.
Thanks, Dave. _________________ David Wigham |

If I can find a picture of it and the cables insitu I'll just make one, hence I need a picture of one in place.
Thank, Dave. _________________ David Wigham |

Here's mine, but cable not attached.
I'm pretty sure there's also a photo or two of it in the tech manual.

Ah, suprerb sir, thank you. In the upper picture does it also clamp to the air cleaner bracket for support? I think the 2nd lower picture shows me what I need to know, 2 bars clamping under the bonnet hinge?
Thanks, Dave. _________________ David Wigham |

No connection at all to the air cleaner or its bracket Dave.
It's a single flat bar mounted under one hood (bonnet!) hinge bolt and the free end hangs in space as shown in the tech manual photo.
Figure 13 on page 21 of TM9-1804A (June 1951) is also a good photo to see. Free in the downloads section.
If you'd like some dimensions let me know. _________________ Ron D.
