April,

No I will not expell you from the sandbox. I will offer you a tube of vaseline and suggest where you place the sandbox. I have tired of the laziness I find among the newer folks here who treat this web site like a Facebook Page. I think I have had enough of the last 26 years with this site and your type.

Somebody has to say it.

Making that kind of rude, unprofessional, inaccurate and nonsensical remark and then locking the members' project thread to prevent response is entirely uncalled for and a "cheap shot".

"Your type"? What "type" is that?

There's 6,047 users of this forum and only about 6 regularly participate. Now you want to run them off too.

I'm done kissing your ring and listening to you pontificate. It's not your role to challenge anybody to do anything. Try giving support and encouragement for a change.

Either that, or why don't you do yourself a favor and pull the plug on this entire website and spare yourself all the trouble and pain?

Wow, is that a real quote? That is very disappointing. Shame if that is legit!

#@$%@ straight it's real. And disappointing.

See it here (last page) before the entire thread gets mysteriously deleted.

Yep, just read that dumpster fire of a post. Not cool Wes! Your site, do as you wish.

"folks who treat this website like a facebook page"?
What does that even mean?
I don't do fakebook. Asking for a friend.

This used to be a great website and resource.
Not so much anymore.

Good luck!

It’s called an email flame/ flaming.
Flames produce absolutely no joy.
Flames are harmful to the mission.
Flames can be resolved.

* Shift the discussion to PM & phone.
* Find common ground.
* Think about the group.
* Move on to better things.

April has done more in the last 30 odd pages to indicate her knowledge of restoring vehicles than many here, and has been extremely willing to share.

I am totally, $&%, I don’t even know what I feel.

Unbelievably disappointed. Maybe that’s the light version.

Maybe it’s time Wes turned over his portion of Web God to someone else and go somewhere and enjoy his company.
Apparently ours is not what he is seeking.

It would be my heartfelt wish one or more of the other Moderators would step in here before this site gets fragged.

No, absolutely NO excuse for that post.

This sure seems to be becoming a real mess kind of like G503 had become. Seems to me Wes needs to re-evaluate his attitude.

A sincere and public apology would be a good place to start.

I really don't feel like I have a place or a say since I'm one or those lazy folks ; I haven't contributed to anything; you were referring to but Mr Wesk it sounds like you are burnt out on this forum , maybe take a little time and step away and recharge the batteries, come back when you feel like helping isn't a hassle. Killing one of the most active projects here isn't quite the best piece of leadership I have seen as of late. Maybe I'm wrong maybe I'm right then again who am I to suggest anything? Just a lazy word or your choice.

I used to check in daily not so much any more. I did notice 2 interesting build threads, those of Don and April and began checking more regularly to check on progress and cheer them on. Carry on..

Hi Rick,
Yup, that's something most of us like to do and why we come here.
Might be hard to "carry on" when the build thread is locked?

That's the subject of this topic anyway......

Am I the only one who thinks the whole situation was a misunderstanding that snowballed quickly?
