Video is long for the subject covered, but nice touch to your display!

Maybe do the same for your military radios?
Here's a link to some pretty good (and authentic) tactical radio chatter from Vietnam:

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLuUrwO2XXuRKXlJRsrxnjevu9iYZX7uak

p.s. I see no need to gut the military radio or any part of it to do this.

Good luck!

I do have a set up for the military radios with a set of radio traffic between a Spooky gunship and a Special Forces Camp as it's being hit. I have it loaded on an old iPhone and it is the perfect size to slip in-between the radio and mount. It sounds like it's coming from the radio and unless you really look for it you never see it. It's about a 3 hour broadcast.

Finally getting back to work on the 1953 M38a1. On this episode, we are starting disassembly as we begin the prep for paint which will be coming up in a few episodes. Luckily we are having beautiful fall weather here and it is making it perfect to work on and paint the Jeep. Like always, I would love it for people to give a like, leave a comment and if you haven't already please hit the subscribe button to follow all the Green Iron madness.

Time for another Friday episode of Green Iron TV. Today we are adding the paint mask markings from www.deltateamdecals.com to finish off the re-restoration on the 1953 Jeep M38a1. I know this is a longer video, but it goes into depth on how to properly apply and paint markings with a paint mask kit, so just sit back and enjoy while soaking up some good how to info. Also check out the cool merchandize I now have available with several of the military vehicles on them at https://green-iron-tv.creator-spring.com/ And like always, please take a moment to leave a comment, give a like and if you haven't already hit the subscribe button.

Nice video how to do paint mask stencils. Well done.
Always cracks me up to hear you thank yourself for making them. Laughing

Many might not realize you also do "custom" stencils like your lightning bolts and ASA crest (you did some 3rd Infantry Division for me, very nice).

Thanks!

Thanks, yes I try not to make it sound like I make the marking kits so that it's a bit more informational and doesn't sound like a commercial for the product.

Glad you like the 3rd Inf. ones I made for you.

Finished up re-restoration on my late 53' Jeep M38a1 that is marked similar to one my father drove in the fall of 62' in the Florida Keys during the Cuban Missile Crisis. I even replicated the orange lightning bolts which were used to mark the different companies within the 313th ASA.

Yep, you said that before.

Too late, the word is out. Smile

Guess you'd rather folks wonder why you don't plug your own product. Shocked

Good luck!
