While working out the details of a purchase from Van Buuren Jeeps I noticed that they also offered NOS 2245 NEKAF sparkplugs. Their site says that they are "Spark plug M38/M38A1 NEKAF wade proof, Auto-lite,set of 4 plugs." They don't say "Auto-Lite" on them like my "Auto-Lite 2245 'Resistor' MS35909-2"'s. Is that just a NEKAF thing? Are they in fact NEKAF? Not certain, they look newer and have 2245 on the body and they didn't cost me $160 like my Auto-Lites they only ran $86.18 (80 Euros). I had them toss 2 sets in with my other piece which was heavy to ship so can't speak to shipping costs from the Netherlands. BUT the point is they have them, they are pretty reasonably priced and they don't seem to have a limit on availability.

Probably more recent military contract for spare parts in the 60's-90's

I would say that some photos or having one in hand to compare would be the best bet.
