I got my rifle holder from Midwest Military, it is a repro, but it came with all the canvas and such already on it, actually complete. bJust got to mask the canvas and paint it to match the jeep...

My question is what type and size bolts do I need to mount it... My Manuals are on a different computer that is down for a bit...

Also, if I could get a photo or two posted of how the M-1 Garand mounts, that would be nice. there is a canvas strap that is preventing my M-1 from going all the way into the mount at the butt end...

TIA

that canvas strap inside the butt is only 1/8" thick that should not be a problem. how wide is the butt end of the rack outside at the bolt hole? mine is 2 1/16 inch wide and the grand slip right in

Ken,

There is a strap that is installed from one side to the other, shaped like a "U" that will not allow me to insert the rifle all the way to the back of the holder... Just curious if that should be there... It looks like it is used for the M-1 Carbine and its smaller stock...

Not many photos of the rifle Holder posted...
