there has been a lot of previous discussion on venting the dist,by venting through the fuel pump vaccum lines, my m/38 has the 24v dist, that is pluged off top and bottom. i dont have the military fuel pump. is there another way that i could get some cooling to the distributor.my m/38 has electric wipers. it all came that way. thanks to all

Newton,
You could just connect a 1/8" tube to the intake with a soldered shut brass fitting adapter thru which you then drill a .040 hole and connect to one side of the distributor then connect an unobstructed 1/8" tube to the air intake at the crossover or the air filter. You really should maintain a vented distributor.
