Hello

I have the YS950S carb on my CJ3B/M606 but I dont have any fording kit.

should I plug the elbow above the fuel line ? or does it need to be open ?

and what is it used for ?

as it right now the enginge is getting to much fuel the sparks are black and the I get some smoke out the exhaust pipe. And I feel the smell of unburned fuel. Cold engine and no chocke.

The enginge is rebuild max running time is 2h 95% on idle. not allowed yet to use it on the road.

the carb is outhauled by me (I used a kit from midwest)
lacking the proper tools I did as best as I could with the help of the manual. (also from john)
I have the Civvy fuel pump (with glas bowl) and no vaccum.

I do have some older pumps but dont know the status of them.
