Good Luck finding the correct winch. Very very few people currently have them and even fewer are probably available. The only part that occasionally comes available is the PTO. An original hanger bearing, winch frame or drive shafts are for all practical purposes not available anymore. However, there are a few people who have remanufactured some of these parts. I have been looking for 5+ years for a Ramsey model 50 or 50r winch and have all but given up hope. My advice is to purchase any necessary piece as it becomes available and have extraordinary patience, it will probably take many many years if ever to successfully complete a correct M38 winch setup. Also, be prepared to shell out some serious $$$. I would not be surprised if the complete setup does not end up costing you at least $7,000! _________________ Dan
