To all,

I just joined this great site and wanted to say hi to everyone out there. I am in the beginning stages of this passion of rebuilding a Jeep. I don't have one yet, but am in the process of saving up money to purchase one.

I will go ahead and apologize for bugging members with questions, but I want to learn as much as I can about these Willys Jeeps and I hope I can get some guidance and mentorship.

My first of many questions will be to find out if there are any members in the Albuquerque, NM, area that would be willing to serve as a guide/mentor through my process of buying, rebuilding, and owning a Willys Jeep. If there is anyone out there in this area, and are willing to help, please let me know.

Great to meet everyone and I look forward to the day I can post my first Willys Jeep.

Thanks,

James Very Happy

James,

Welcome aboard.

You are doing the right thing by researching before purchasing.

Feel free to ask any questions as many here have been in your shoes before.
Cool

James,
Glad to have you. I spent the night at your Zoo back
in 1960! Great place, but the cats roaring kept us awake.

I have received lots of good information and saved a lot
on money on our '51 Willys since joining this group. I'd
also recommend Military Vehicles Magazine, and a
membership in the MVPA gets you some nice magizines,
including Suppy Line, a good research tool for parts.

You can see our M38 at:

Regards, Jim in Darkest Arkansas
