Hi Guys. There is a mounting point under the gas tank. Do I use a hex bolt or something else to mount the body there. Looks like the tank will hit a bolt...

Rick,
On that mount a hex bolt with a lock washer and flat washer is inserted up through the bottom of the mount and screwed into a nut, which inside the hat channel on the tub. The bolt does not pass through the floor of the tub.

I don't have the bolt size available as my manuals aren't with me at the moment.

If your tub does not have the nut in the hat channel, I would suggest using a carrige type round head bolt. This gives less chance of damaging the tank...

Hope this Helps...

Thanks Guys. It's a repro tub with no nut in the hat channel. Guess I'm going with a carriage bolt......
