Well; after a week off I am alot closer to getting to drive it...
I still have to blast the jerry can holder and spare tire carrier and mount them here...
The top bow brackets are missing weld nuts and I just got the fenders back from my friend after painting. Also need to get the hardware to mount them with.
Need to order the headlights and blast the light wells, but 90% of the wiring is in... And a NOS Douglas connector oil sending unit (0-120) is on its way. I need to get new glass, I cracked the old gettting it out of the frame.
Ignition switch is ordered and all but one data plate is correct. I still have to mount the ccircuit breakers on the battery box, they have been ordered... A little touch up will be required for the instrument panel...
I will have to wait for the battery box, but every thing else is falling into place...
The seat covers and some other parts are due in this next week. I am seeing some late nights in the near future... I would like to have it ready to go to Tulsa the weekend of Aug 13-14, and maybe to Wichita, KS two weeks later... I know it will not be 100%, but it will be driveable and the little things will come later...
Comments?
Enjoy... |

Hal,
Looks like you are rapidly progressing!
Keep up the good work.
I have been thinking about going to the Wichita show, especially if you are going to have your jeep there.
What is the date for that one, last weekend of August? _________________ Ryan Miller
