On the Headlight Door that goes over the bulb. How do the spring clips go to push against the rubber?

I have seen a picture of this but can’t find it.

On the Floor Drain cover I have the rubber gasket that goes between the metal drain top and the floor.

Which way should the rivet go? Head on top of the metal or head down under the rubber?

Thanks, Alan

Although I can't seem to locate my more original floor photos this is what I believe to be correct. Of course if you added a washer under the finished tail or head of the rivet against the rubber the rivet would work well either way.

I can't seem to find the inside photo of the headlight door either. The BO driving lamp door clip below is installed pretty much the same way.

Well I checked out the old door gasket to see how the clips had left their mark over the years and tried to do mine the same.

It turned out to be really simple to do.
