Hi,
I have a master-craft torque wrench that that scale reads: in-lbs_ft-lbs. No where on the scale does it say which one it is.
My question is, how do I know if it is inch pounds or foot pounds. I am about to install my new head gasket and want to have the right torque on the head bolts. Does anyone else have this wrench?
Odd range marking. Generally torque wrences in the inch pound range are 0-100 InLbs or 50-500 InLbs range. That only equates to a max of 42 Ft Lbs. You need a FtLb torque wrench that is calibrated to at least 75 FtLbs. _________________ Wes K
