Hello all,
does anybody know if / where anybody is selling the M38 Antenna mount that goes on the spare wheel carrier?
I've seen similar ones that look like M151 mounts, are they the same?
Thanks,
Dave |

Dave.
Try Surplus City Parts.
www.surplusjeep.com
They had them in stock not to long ago. The price was for an AB-449/G antenna support, NOS, w/Hardware round 120$
Hope that helps.....

Thanks, I'll try them.
The problem is I'm in the UK and their export (US) laws mean they can't easily sell to me as I could be a terrorist planning some deviuos attrocity with my M38 and the last vital link I might need is a sixty year old antenna support! |

Thank you Wes,
that is an excellent idea, I didn't think before but I just happen to know a metal folder (if the business is still going).
Will try this.
Cheers,
Dave. |

Wes,
I realy don't know the use of these extension. I bought this in a lot with a MP50 antenna base, antenna sections and a handfull of radio wire. Is this type of base originally designed for war era jeep??? and modified for the M38 taller tire??? Have you a date on your drawing?
