Gentlemen: Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to Everybody!

I picked up a suction cup mounted 12 volt windshield defroster used on M38 & M38A1 jeeps. There is a picture of one on jeeps in pictures #41 and #44 on the historic photo gallery. I also have the metal storage box, but the mounting instruction decal is flaking off. Does anyone have a copy of what it said? Does anyone know how much these defrosters are worth or how many were issued?

Regards, Dennis Very Happy

They were treated like shovels and axes. Base level supply system item not specifically manufactured for any specific vehicle. In the 50's you would have seen WWII type 6 & 12 volters and as well as the current M series 24 volters.
