Bill,

I am up at my folks for Thanksgiving and will be back home Sunday. I don't have my material handy, but I do know that each one of those bolts is listed with the dimensions needed for each in the ORD 9 SNL G-740. There is an index in the back to look up the page number of the part and the bolts are listed with the part.

I hope this helps and if needed, I can send you some stuff when I get back.

I have bought most of these and they are standard sizes... ACE is the place to get bolts... Smile

Hood to tub - 1/4 - 20X 1 1/4 or along that line

Drivers Seat Frame - 5/16-18 - 1 1/2 or along that line...

I have my SNL with me, but am currently in San Antonio... will get back to you later today.

Hope this helps...

Steering box to frame

If correct, 7/16"-20NF-3 X 3"

Fenders to body and grill, and then to the frame

- IF CORRECT, FENDER BRACE TO FRAME = 3/8"-24NF-3 X 1 1/2" (4 TOTAL)
- IF CORRECT, FENDER TO BODY = 5/16"-18NC X 6/8" (WITH INTEGRAL INTERNAL TEETH LOCK WASHER (8 TOTAL)
- IF CORRECT, FENDER TO GRILL (GUARD) = 5/16"-18NC X 7/8" (6 TOTAL)

Hood to the body

- IF CORRECT, HOOD HINGE TO BODY = 1/4"-20NC-2 X 5/8" ( 5 TOTAL)

Throttle linkage to the engine block

IF CORRECT, THROTTLE LINKAGE TO ENG BLOCK = 1/4"-20NC-3 X 9/16" (2 TOTAL)

Drivers side seet frame

IF CORRECT, DRIVER SEAT FRAME = 5/16"-18UNC-2A X 7/8" (1 TOTAL)
= 5/16"-18NC-2 X 5/8" (2 TOTAL)

Hope all are correct; used the ORD 9 SNL G-740 Army Supply Manual!

Best regards,

Jorge

PS: Sorry about the garage not being warm enough... I had my typical sunny 86F beach weather today down here in Puerto Rico!

There is a fourth bolt for the drivers seat, left hand side from under the rear fender well, into the rear of the seat frame... there should be a nut inside the frame tubing this screws into...

SCREW, int-teeth-lock washer, hex-hd, S, cd or znpltd,
5/16-24NF-2 x 1 7/8"

Please note this is a different thread than the other 3...

Hope this helps...
