Hi,
Ordered some straps for M38A1 to hold down the axe and the top bows at the sides, but I am not sure if the right ones arrived. Please, post some pictures and/or measurements of the uninstalled straps for each application.
Thanks,
Zoli

We have an M38. The straps we got from Midwest
Military had little loops under the buckle end which
I think go on the footman loops, and you have to
unscrew the footman loops for this. I used the long
ones (2 each side) on the back wheel wells to hold
various canvas things, and a short one on the front
of the grill for the hood hold-down. Hope this helps.

Oops, forgot the two at the extreme rear of the
wheel well, with the footman loop mounted on
the flat, not on the side, a short strap goes there
with the loose end through the vertical metal
piece to tie down the top's frame.

Thanks Jim, I will try to hook up those straps, hope I will do it correctly. I am missing two footman loops, have to get some of those too.
