I used a 1-5/8" wrench and puller to remove my steering wheel tonight. How do you remove the input shaft from the steering gear? I've not seen a very good description in the technical manuals. Thanks again guys. Oh, and WesK, once I get thd body off, I'll turn in my survey.

Note that the worm and the shaft are one piece. You must disconnect the pitman arm, remove the dash panel column clamp and floor access plate and then remove the gear box mounting bolts and remove the entire gearbox and shaft assembly from the jeep.

Whoops. I was trying to remove the worm with the box in place. I guess, I'll take a new approach. Thanks.
