I looked through manual section and couldn't the information I was looking for....

What are the torque settings for the bolts on the differentials?

There are several bolts in there. Which specific bolts? I(E are you asking about the 2 bolts that fasten each of the diff bearing caps? If you are then their torques are listed in the appropriate manual. You did not tell us which model jeep you have as well. The M38 manual for the diff rebuild is TM 9-1804B and the answer is on page 135. http://www.willysmjeeps.com/v2/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=getit&lid=125

If you have an M38A1 or M170 then the TM 9-8015-2, page 182 is the one you want.
