I'm considering refitting my jeep with a radio system as it shows signs of once having one. I'm thinking it was the AN/VRC-10 system. My jeep already has the AB-449G antenna mount. What base and antenna am I needing? I know this is probably a silly question, but I know next to nothing about these setups. They're nothing like the Falcon III's I'm used to. Wink

Any idea? Also, any tips on what else I should be looking at would be appreciated.

Dan there are several radio options for the M38. They used the VRQ-1, -2 & -3, the VRC-8, -9 & -10 and several other portable units and a few larger GRC- combinations.

Some M38A1's that made it to Vietnam service in the late 60's even used the VRC12.
