Sorry I did a typo in the last post....regarding tool box clip.. was there any differences in production of the tubs with the tool box opener? I heard that import tubs have a different opener, or was there also a difference in willys tubs as well?

On another note, how hard would it be to replace a dash on a tub...do you need to have the firewall off to replace a dash, or can one remove the top half of the cowl that includes the firewall and dash without much effort. I realize one would also have to cut where the front floor meets firewall?

The military tubs had the lockable tool box lid latch by threading a padlock thru the latch ring.

It's best to leave the cowl alone and separate the dash from the cowl.
