Hi all

As the topic header states. I am in England and cannot find this style of nut anywhere, I suppose not knowing the name of it does not help matters. This nut is of the engine mounts but I have noticed many more scattered around the Jeep ( M38A1). Any help would be appreciated.

Flex-top expanding lock nut. Mil-Spec ones are available at McMaster-Carr here in the U.S. but I.m sure there are numerous other sources.
Here's a link...

They may ship overseas.

Appears to be the type used on exhaust manifolds on M38 and A1.
Available from many suppliers here on the forum.

The nut in the photo is steel self locking nut. The M38 and M38A1 exhaust nuts are brass.
