CAn anyone direct me to pictures of the rear seat mounts and retainers for a 53 M38A1? My jeep doesn't have one. I think I know what parts are needed, just don't know how the seat mounts up.

It's the same as the M38 except for the slight cahnge it the upper seat back retainers. Here's a photo from Rick's post on another thread.



The vertical spring steel strap that attaches to the two bolts just above the inverted U bracket is not shown here. But if you go to john's Midwest Military web site he has all the parts illustrated.

Thank you sir, its true a pictures worth a thousand words. When the body guy picks up the tub tonight I can have him fix my inverted u and fill a few needed holes. Thanks again.
