in the box of parts for my 51 M38 I found two items not sure what they are? anyone know?[img], not sure was this is, its twisted some and approx 9 X 13 sorry for the crummy pic but I can take some more if needed.[/img]

Looks like the heat shield for the brake master cylinder. Though a little worse for ware.

The top photo is a home made skid bar for whatever but not a stock part of your M38.

The bottom photo is correctly ID'd as the master brake cylinder heat shield.


It is below the master cylinder facing the exhaust pipe.
