This is on Ebay UK, advertised for the M38A:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/M38A-Jeep-Windscreen-recoiless-rifle-cut-out-/160687931757?pt=UK_Cars_Parts_Vehicles_Other_Vehicle_Parts_Accessories_ET&hash=item2569bf416d

I think the vendor means the M38A1, but this looks more suited to the M38......

Wbr,
Owen.

That is super cool! It is for the M38C also used on the M201 for the M27 105mm recoilless. Some where changed over to M40 106mm recoilless in late fiftys.

The M38C seldom choppedup the windshield.

This looks like a M201 windshield. See next photo.

wesk that first pic is not a 105 or 106 recoilless that is a M20 75mm recoilless so no need to cut the windsheild. I have pics of M38's with that type of windsheild. I just can not post pics here.

I have photos buried somewhere also with the chopped windshields but they were experimental units not military production like the m38A1C. I also recall having some of experimental M38 CDN's with them.

I opened a photo album for you. Just load them to the album and link the album photo here.
