Hi all,
I am proud owner of a'54 M38A1 that has seen better days but is a good runner. It just looks bad. I want to get the ton of bondo it has on the rear left corner off. I heard that heating the bondo up with a torch melts it and it can be scraped off. Chipping it off does not work very well.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Yes you can use heat but dont go crazy with the heat. I used a propane torch on mine. If its really thick, heat the back side of the panel to. It will soften it up to where it will let you gouge and scrape it off.
