Door Hinge on Windshield

Does anyone have an M-38 windshield that is garbage and they are willing to cut up?

I am looking for the hinge at the top of the passenger side for the door...

Up until now I did not need it, but I am aquiring a set of doors and will need to weld one back onto the windshield...

I could make one if I really had to, but a replacement is better ...

The upper door hinge is welded to the door rope channel on the M38. John has good quality ones on his website here (4th item down):

Since MWM are reproducing these rope channels, maybe John would be willing to sell you just the hinge? Worth a phone call, at least.......
