I got a replacement windshield gasket for my 1952 M38A1 from Kaiser-Willys. Despite it looking like the correct split glass gasket, they tell me at the glass place it's for a civilian jeep. I ordered a correct one from Midwest Military. I'm hoping Kaiser-Willy's sent me a CJ3 gasket, and that there is a difference between that windshield and the one for a M38A1. I was told my frame is a military one by the glass place, but I just hope it's the right one for a M38A1. Any opinions on this? _________________ 1952 M38A1

My gasket fit the glass very easy on the table before laying over the frame. Only slight stretching and it was clearly the right size and shape. _________________ 1955 M170

I don't remember who sold it but it was made by a company called "Newstar". I think they are out of Canada. _________________ 1955 M170
