One of the reasons to run the vacume line to the distributor is to help keep it cooler, why is the fitting at the T reduced to 40 thousands. Also like a lot of M38 owners my tranny leaks, have tried almost everything but still have the problem, Im ready to try 120 oil, but cant find any without the bad additives. Who carries that oil??

the r.040 educer on leading off the T-block to the distributor assists in maintaining sufficient vac for the wiper system.

I dont have a source of heavy oil but where exactly is your trans/transfer leaking?

Lucky for me my M38 doesn't fit into the Leaking Trans/TC category. YET!
