cant find in manuals, where the the weatherseals bonded too, the lids them self or to the panels? thxs

glove box lid/door
storage bx lid/door under the pass seat. thxs

Can't speak for the under-seat toolbox lid, but my glove box had the remains of the seal attached to the door, not the dash panel. That's for the M38; I guess the M38A1 would be similar (if it works, don't change it Wink ).

Can't say if that's original, but the remains of the seal look to be bonded to the lid. Hope this helps.......

Both the glove box and the tool box door/lid/cover seals/gaskets go on the flat inner surface of the doors/lids/covers. See illustration below.
