I have a master cylinder heat shield that I would like to put on my M38A1, but I can not figure out how/where the shield attaches. It only has two brackets that almost looks as if it slides on somewhere underneath or beside the master cylinder. Any advice or any pictures available? Thanks

Yes they are all correct and you do not have to take the bolt all the way out although if its a body off it's way easier. Loosen the bolts enought to slip the shield brackets over the shaft of the bolt on either side and re tighten. It is a pian if you are doing this from under the jeep with the body on.
